| Subject: Make sure your novel is "good" enough! Check list included Thu Mar 03, 2011 5:12 pm | |
| A novel, (and I'm just going off by what I believe, as a gifted writer, ((in gifted and talented class)) and future novelist) should probably have the following things: A(or a few) well developed characters that you can get into. Meaning, you don't mind working with them for years, and you won't get bored of them. Their appearance goes into detail somehow, and they're likeable enough. You have an idea that you'd be willing to stick with. Try to stick with your plot, unless you have a twist in mind. Don't be talking about an important piece of the story in one minute, and then never speak of topic again. It can be confusing. Try to piece things together in a creative twist. Perhaps a character goes into a public bathroom, and sees a symbol scratched into the wall. Later, the symbol might be an important part of the book. Make sure you have the correct homophone.Post yours! | |
